Airborne surveys have been carried out in August 2007 and 2011. Surface elevation was measured by LIDAR and the bedrock was imaged by ice sounder radar roughly following the 1500 m (above sea level) elevation contour line around the entire perimeter of the ice sheet. A map showing the flight path can be seen here . For 2011 only surface elevation data is available. The 2011 bedrock data will become available shortly.
